چکیده
In this study, nanoparticles were suspended in L-AN32 total loss system oil. The thixotropic yield behavior and viscoelastic of ferrofluid analyzed by steady-state dynamic methods explained according to the microscopic mechanism magneto-rheology. Herschel–Bulkley (H–B) model was used fit flow curves, observed static stress greater than stress. Both values increased as magnetic field increased, corresponding shear thinning viscosity curve more significantly strength increased. amplitude scanning results show that linear region (LVE) is reached when 10%. frequency showed storage modulus with increase at first. steadily a higher range, while slowly initial stage rapidly later stage. sweep experiments, energy are enhanced decrease temperature. These findings helpful better understand magneto-rheology ferrofluids, also provide guidance for many practical applications.

Fumed and Precipitated Hydrophilic Silica Suspension Gels in Mineral Oil: Stability and Rheological Properties
Hydrophilic fumed silica (FS) and precipitated silica (PS) powders were suspended in mineral oil; increasing the silica volume fraction (φ in the suspension led to the formation of sol, pre-gel, and gel states. Gelation took place at lower φ values in the FS than the PS suspension because of the lower silanol density on the FS surface. The shear stresses and dynamic moduli of the FS and PS susp...

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Thermal and Rheological Properties Improvement of Oil-based Drilling Fluids Using Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNT)
In this paper, we detail our results for the impact of MWCNT on the thermal and rheological properties of oil-based drilling muds. Our analysis considers the effects of time, temperature, and MWCNT volume fraction. The scanning electron microscopy imaging technique was used to monitor the MWCNTsdispersion quality. The experimental results unveil a considerable enhancement in the thermal conduct...
متن کاملRheological Study of Nickel Ferrite Ferrofluid
In this work, a stable NiFe2O4 paraffin based ferrofluid was prepared via high energy milling. The rheological properties of ferrofluid were studied. Bingham plastic, HerschelBulkley and Casson models were used to evaluate the shear stress-shear rate dependency. The ferrofluid exhibited a shear thinning behaviour for all studied magnetic field. The magneto-viscous effect and thixotropy of...

This study investigated the effects of galacomannans (guar gum, tara gum, and locust bean gum) on the rheological properties of buckwheat starch pastes under steady and dynamic shear conditions. The power law and Casson models were applied to describe the flow behavior of the buckwheat starch and galactomannan mixtures. The values of the apparent viscosity (ηa,100), consistency index (K), and y...
